After the 4-hour trek from the Pla de La Lau car park, you arrive at the “Estagnous” mountain refuge.
Upon arrival please come and present yourself to the caretaker (s) and take stock of the “reception procedures”
(of course you will have reserved your overnight stay and / or your meals in advance)…
After having rested and enjoyed the exceptional view…
enter via the hikers’ entrance (entrée des randonneurs) to settle in.
Following the caretaker’s instructions you will:
1 / take a blue box to put the personal belongings you will need in the refuge, the rest will stay in the bag at the entrance …
2 / remove your shoes and put on our rubber “clogs” …
3 / follow the caretaker (s) to your dormitory room …
4 / finally, make a little visit of the place… so as to get your bearings for the evening (remember to take a lamp…)
And finally, don’t miss dinner time …
There is only one service for everyone! At 7:30 p.m. !
